The Adventures of the Masked Phantom plot
Robert Murdock, the foreman of mine owner Stan Barton, receives stolen gold bars from outlaws from the East and has them melted down in Barton's mine. Murdock then sells the gold again. When Barton finds out, he is taken hostage by Murdock's henchmen. Shortly thereafter, Alamo arrives. In addition to the account of the stolen gold bars, Alamo hears the legend about the 'Masked Phantom', which gives him an idea. Impersonating the 'Masked Phantom', Alamo goes on a hunt for Murdock's gang to round them up and free Barton.
