"THUNDERING GUNS IN A GHOSTLY EMPIRE of FRAUD and HATE!"
Cal and his band 'The Rhythm Rangers' are warned to stay away from a theater by Walt and his band 'The Colorado Hillbillies'. Walt is Cal's brother. Cal and the Rhythm Rangers ignore the warning and are fired upon by a masked man upon arrival. The musicians get the help of comedian 'Alibi' Terhune and his talking doll Elmer to catch the mysterious gunman.
