Surrender plot

"STORY OF AN AMORAL WOMAN!"

Violet Barton has the reputation of a femme fatale and she is after wealth. Violet has a love affair with gambler Gregg Delaney. Yet she marries his best friend Johnny Hale. Violet has found out that Hale is the richest man in Texas. Through this marriage, however, Violet loses the trust of her sister Janet - who is in love with Hale - as well as that of her boyfriend Gregg Delaney. Sheriff Bill Howard stubbornly tries to get Gregg Delaney to confess to a murder. However, Gregg manages to successfully continue to deny. Then Violet kills her legal husband Henry Vaan. Violet and Gregg then flee into the desert.
