"Jail-break raiders terrorize texas!"
Texas, 1879. A group of bandits frees some prisoners. They then rob banks and stagecoaches, putting the blame on the escaped prisoners. The gang then also collects the money that has since been placed on the heads of the prisoners. Texas Ranger Ed Ryan goes undercover and poses as a wanted murderer. This allows him to hang out among the scum of the city without being noticed. He discovers that some of the city's respected businessmen may be the mastermind behind the breakouts and robberies.
