"THE ODDS WERE AGAINST HIM BUT LOVE WAS ON HIS SIDE!"
Stone kills Thorton for a map leading to his gold mine, but only gets half of it. Tom arrives and helps Beth, Thorton's daughter, to take half of the map back from Stone. Stone expects someone to want to register the gold mine and Tom pretends to be that man and tries to get into Stone's gang. Then the man Tom pretends to be appears on the scene and he is captured by the gang members.
