Slow as Lightning plot

Jimmie March is a good-natured kid, but hopelessly inefficient at his job at EJ Philips' office. Jimmie is in love with Eleanor, the daughter of Philips, but the chances of the two getting together are diminished by two events: Jimmie is fired and Mortimer Fenton, a wealthy young man, is deeply interested in Eleanor.
