A self-proclaimed priest, Hawker wants to take control of 'Big Sag' territory in Montana. But before that, he must first drive Barbee Sam and his son Lee, two recently arrived settlers from Texas, from Big Sag. Hawker's wife Sarah doesn't think her husband is capable of that because he has renounced the use of weapons. She therefore sends her attractive daughter Hannah to town with a letter for Chan Bartholomew, the local saloon owner, asking for assistance. During her trip to the city, Hannah finds herself in a sandstorm, but she finds shelter with Lee Barbee, who she falls in love with instantly. When the weather improves, Hannah continues her journey. The lusty Chan Bartholomew can't keep his hands off Hannah and his jealous wife and alcoholic 'Goldie' fatally shoots him. Meanwhile, gunslinger Fargo, hired by Chan Bartholomew, arrives.
