Riders of the Purple Sage plot
Lassiter resigns from the Texas Rangers and goes in search of a group of Mormons who have kidnapped his sister. In a town on the border with Utah he meets the Withersteen family. He falls in love with Jane, the daughter of the house. He also befriends Venters and helps him track down a gang of cattle thieves.
