Rider of the Plains plot

Blackie Saunders and his young partner Sandy drive into Indian Springs where Blackie meets his old friend Jim, who he once worked with when he was still on the wrong side of the law. Jim is now the town's vicar, while Blackie still has the reputation of a murderer. The villagers find Blackie incapable of acting as guardian for young Sandy, and Jim tries to convince Blackie to leave the boy with him.
