Arthur Cameron runs a project for underprivileged youth and has set up camp for them in the woods. The camp's survival is threatened when Julie Wescott threatens to sell the forests to a logging company. Julie's father was killed when he fell from his horse by a rope stretched across a path. Julie believes the boys at the camp were responsible for tensioning that rope. When Rex Allen is nearby and learns of all this, he decides to help Cameron and the boys.
