"From The Studio That Gave You "Canyon Passage""

Itinerant cowboy and former outlaw Lin Sloane tries to capture the wild mustang 'Black Velvet' at Lucy Bostel's request. Lucy is the young daughter of influential horse breeder Matthew Bostel. Sloane falls in love with Lucy, but her father isn't happy about it given Sloane's past. Lucy gets further into trouble with her father when she tries to compete in a horse race with Black Velvet, whom Sloane has now captured and tamed.
