Chris Tanner is accused of committing treason during the American Civil War as an agent for the Union. A committee was totally wiped out and the inventor of the machine gun, Tarpas, was kidnapped with his invention. However, Tanner gets a chance to prove his innocence by bringing back Tarpas and his invention.
