Prairie Express plot
"SCOUTIN' A SUICIDE STRIP!"
After rescuing his old friends Faro Jenkins and young Dave Porter from some outlaws led by Burke, Texas Ranger Johnny Hudson is forced to determine that the hostage situation may have been an attempt by the bandits to get David's sister Peggy away. to get with her transport company. Hudson and the Porters do not yet know that the crimes are committed at the behest of local banker Gordon Gregg, who wants to see Peggy's trucking company go bankrupt in order to get his hands on the valuable Porter Ranch. Hudson has since arrested several outlaws, but Gregg stabs Sheriff Bill and lets the prisoners escape. Gregg then enlists the hit man Collins to get rid of the busybody Hudson.
