Partners of the Trail plot

"Ready for anything...that Nevada and Sandy! They're partners in the battle against bandits!"

Kate Hilton returns to her ranch in Springfield by stagecoach after learning that her father has been murdered. Kate then meets US Marshall Nevada Jack McKenzie. A 'Wells Fargo' stagecoach carrying money for Kate's ranch is robbed and the coachman Hilton is killed. McKenzie just manages to stop this stagecoach. Meanwhile, US Marshall Sandy Hopkins goes incognito as a cook to Sprinfield. Joel Dixon runs Wells Fargo's office now that Hilton is dead and Kate falls in love with him. Mckenzie notes that JD Edwards, the president of the Land & Cattle Company and stepfather of Joel Dixon, has significant control over Springfield. Many civilians have recently been killed for no apparent reason, and the doctor Applegate asks Nevada and Sandy Hopkins to solve these mysterious murders.
