"TEX GOES FIGHTING MAD...when cattle thieves raid a ranch bossed by a kid he loves!"
Six-year-old Sugar Gray inherited the Sugar Ranch. She can lose this ranch again to her cousin Jeff Grey, if she doesn't deliver a certain amount of cattle. Jeff teams up with Vic Insley to steal the Sugar Ranch's cattle to gain possession of this ranch. The ranch banker and temporary overseer, Jim Coleman, opposes Jeff's activities and hires Tex Wright and Slim Hunkafeller as ranchers on the Sugar Ranch. Tex and Slim want to turn the illegal Insley brands back into the Sugar Ranch brand.
