"GUN THUNDER ROCKS THE PANHANDLE! Fighting Marshal joins outlaw band for six-gun clean-up of killers!"

Outlaws Jordan and Wilkins, along with corrupt coachman Jeff Johnson, rob a stagecoach, killing the guard and leaving an unconscious Jeff behind. Jeff is picked up by US Marshals Tom Yeager and 'Hungry' Rogers. Tom poses as an outlaw and ends up in the same cell as Jeff. Hungry frees Tom from the cell and they take Jeff on the condition that he lead them to the hideout of the outlaw gang, led by the supposedly dead Bill Moore. The trio determines that the gang is now led by Anne Moore, who receives instructions from her infamous father. Wilkins is sent to jail after failing to ambush Tom. Unfortunately, the clumsy sheriff reveals Tom and Hungry's true identities to Wilkins. Outlaw Jordan, who visits Wilkins in prison, is updated by him about Tom and Hungry. Meanwhile, Tom tries to arrest Anne and Bill Moore after another stagecoach robbery.
