Newcomer Monte Hale (Monte Hale) tries to land a part in western movies when he meets Danny McCoy (Bobby Blake) and his sister Gloria (Lorna Gray). Danny tries to get his horse, "Pardner" into the movies. Monte is offered a role as a singing cowboy, the horse a small supporting role. When a jealous actor tries to sabotage the film, Monte must show his best side.
