Oklahoma Blues plot
"ACTION to the beat of MUSIC!"
Oklahoma State Commissioner Walton wants to make the city of Rainbow's End the county seat. He doubts his decision when the stagecoach he and the sheriff are sitting in is attacked by the Drago brothers. The sheriff is beaten up by the two brothers in this incident. Jimmy Wakely arrives at Rainbow's End, unaware that his friend Cannonball has been spreading fantasy stories about Wakely, as if Wakely were a bandit named "Melody Kid". Wakely collides with one of the Drago brothers and meanwhile the mysterious leader of a gang tries to ensure that the town of Yuba becomes the capital of the area. After another run-in with the Dragos, Wakely is asked to take on the job of deputy sheriff.
