Moonlight on the Prairie plot
"A new star in the saddle to spur you to cheers and stir you to song!"
After the circus he works for goes bankrupt, Ace Andrews returns to his hometown, even though he is suspected of murder there. He soon learns of a plot to prevent Barbara Roberts from reaching her ranch. To inherit this ranch, she must arrive before midnight. Ace agrees to make sure Barbara gets there on time. Ace also learns that she is the widow of the man he allegedly killed.
