Moonlight and Cactus plot
"THE GALS HAVE TAKEN OVER THE OLD WEST WITH RHYTHM!"
Petty Officer Tom Garrison of the US Merchant Fleet goes ashore and then leaves for his ferry dock. In Tom's company are his shipmates Stubby Lamont, Slugger, Punchy Carter and Lucky. At the ranch, Tom notices that because of the Second World War there is a shortage of workers and that now women run the ranch. These women are the musical sisters Patty, Maxene and Laverne Andrews, Lou Ferguson and Abigail. Lou tells Tom that a large number of cattle have mysteriously disappeared and they decide to go to the neighboring rancher Pasqualito Luigi. Pasqualito prides himself on being an excellent detective.
