Mesquite Buckaroo plot

Bob Allen of the Bar-A ranch is a rodeo champion and his biggest rival is Luke Williams, of the Circle-B ranch. Circle-B owner Jim Bond and his daughter Betty bet Luke will win the upcoming rodeo. Aunt Sarah is betting heavily on Bob's chances of renewing his title. Carson proposes to Bob to cheat and collect all the money invested. Bob refuses and is kidnapped by Carson's men.
