Massacre at Sand Creek plot

Colorado, 1860. A US Army colonel manipulatively forces the Cheyennes into a battle they don't want to fight at all. Seeking personal fame and the rank of General, the Colonel drives the Cheyenne warriors to a region that is virtually indefensible: Sand Creek. But a young American soldier goes to great lengths to prevent the massacre.
