"He Blots Out A Murder Brand At The End Of a Smoking Colt!"

Tim Hanlon comes to the rescue of attractive rancher Ruth McArthur, who is threatened by corrupt saloon owner Henry DeLong. Ruth is unable to pay her late father's debts and attorney Eric W. Gillis advises her to sell the ranch to DeLong. But Ruth does not take that advice, but waits for the arrival of her brother Alan. DeLong has Alan killed by hit man Bill Slater. Tim Hanlon, Alan's friend, is accused of the murder.
