Lure of the Wasteland plot

Butch Cooper is arrested after he and his gang rob a train. The loot remains without a trace. Smitty helps Cooper escape and along the way they run into Parker, the leader of a gang of cattle thieves. Cooper and Smitty then drive to the spot where the loot is hidden, but it appears to have disappeared. Cooper learns that some of his gang members have joined Parker and suspects Parker of stealing the loot. In turn, Parker thinks Cooper is in possession of the proceeds from the robbery.
