Craig "Lucky" Larrigan is a polo player from the east who reluctantly leaves for the west because his girl is going there. Both parents run a ranch and there are problems keeping the ranch running at the hands of cattle thieves. Meanwhile, Craig continues to have doubts about life in the west; in the east he was seen as a tough guy, but people in the west will no doubt regard him as a wimp.
