Just watched this one, and it's part of the third Arrow Spaghetti Western box set.

A sort of Neo-Western that has all the outward characteristics, but while watching I never really felt like I was watching a Spaghetti Western; the storyline is combined with social and political drama and ends quite abruptly.

Hill is deadly serious for his standards, and unfortunately, the film itself lacks any form of self-reflection.

I found the editing during a love scene so typical and contrived that it made me laugh. I frequently wondered what I was watching and what the director's actual intention was.

Not bad, but nowhere really great either; not a movie I want to watch again anytime soon.

Hill is quite good and Ray as the main antagonist is also—as expected—quite strong, but otherwise the film is not exciting, entertaining, or interesting enough to really make an impression.

Buccella is truly beautiful and manages to steal every scene.

The music sometimes seems to come more from an Italian seventies eurocrime thriller.

With great difficulty, a meager six out of ten, or 3 stars.
