Hardcase plot
After years in prison, mercenary soldier Jack Rutherford (Clint Walker) returns home to see his girlfriend Rozaline (Stefanie Powers). However, it turns out that he ran off with another man and sold the ranch where they lived together to a new owner. He decides to follow her towards the Mexican border and finds out that the revolutionary Simon Fuegus (Pedro Armendáriz Jr.) is the new love in her life. Fuegus uses the money from the sold ranch to get weapons and ammunition and when he refuses to give Rutherford some of the money, he decides to kidnap him. After all, Rutherford is also entitled to a portion of the money earned on his former property…
