Fighting Lawman, The plot
"HE ROARED OUT OF FLAGSTAFF...to block the path of plunder in the crimson West!"
Flagstaff, Arizona, 1886. Deputy US Marshal Jim Burke pursues four bank robbers. Manuel Jackson's horse stumbles along the way and Jim is able to arrest him. The other three outlaws (Slade, Clark and Martin) manage to escape. Three years later, Manuel is killed by Jim while attempting to escape. As he dies, Manuel tells Jim that his sister Raquel Jackson from Prescott knows the identities of the other three bank robbers. The three outlaws have taken on new names in Prescott, and Raquel promises Jim that she will identify Slade, Clark and Martin. But instead, Jim is tricked by Raquel, who is engaged to Slade. When Jim, along with local sheriff Dave Wilson, threaten to close in on the foursome, Raquel plans to escape with Slade and the stolen money.
