"RIDIN', ROPING, ROMANCE ALONG THE ADVENTURE TRAIL!"
Sunset Carson is part of an outlaw gang led by Gil Santos. They are mainly concerned with robbing the gold shipments, which are sent from Laramie City. Sunset rebels against Santos when he wants to leave old gang member Jeff Winters behind, who was injured in a robbery. Sunset and Jeff break up with the gang and plan to work for them themselves. Another heist from Santos foils Sunset and Jeff. Sally, the daughter of Laramie City Sheriff Frank Stoner, is convinced that Sunset and Jeff are honest citizens who have just rescued a gold shipment. She takes the injured Jeff to a doctor and Sunset is sworn in as deputy sheriff. Shortly after this swearing in, Santos commits a robbery, and he manages to have Sunset blamed for it.
