"Soldier of Fortune... and Lady of Chance...Beyond Reach of the Law...Face to Face With Assassin's Guns!"

Nevada, circa 1850. The prospector Ford Smith has found a large vein of gold. Ford leaves for California with bags full of gold. During a layover in Carson City, Nevada, he meets Mary, who has just been fired. Mary joins Ford and pretends to be his wife. From their departure from Carson City, Ford and Mary are followed and threatened by three Arab camel traders, Hassan, Kafan and Ghazili. Ford and Mary outsmart this trio along the way and eventually make it to a small California town. There Ford gets into trouble with some Indians and Hassan, Kafan and Ghazili try to take advantage of the situation by stealing Ford's gold.
