Gowdey's plan is to sell a ranch several times by letter and tell the buyer to bring cash. His men then kill the buyer and keep the money for themselves. But when he sells the ranch to Luke Jones, Jones asks his cousin Fuzzy to go with him. This in turn brings Rocky Cameron with him.
