Dead Man's Gold plot
"Gun Justice!"
Rancher Jim Thornton has found gold on his property and he asks for assistance from Lash LaRue. But when LaRue and his devoted friend Fuzzy Q. Jones arrive at Jim Thornton's ranch in Gold Valley, they find him dead. Lash and Fuzzy learn from Thornton's niece June that he has been missing for three days. Lash finds some gold nuggets and realizes that Thornton's territory is valuable and could be a target for the bandits, who are terrorizing the valley. Lash learns that Jim Thornton has been murdered by corrupt mayor Evans, who is working with Thornton's foreman Joe Quirt. Lash plans to set a trap for both of them.
