Cowboy from Lonesome River plot
"LIGHTNING ACTION!"
Steve Randall leads a group of Mesa Valley ranchers who fight Matt Conway. He owns the water company and charges heavily exaggerated rates for the water, which the farmers can no longer afford. Senator Proctor and his secretary, Mona Grant, even arrive from the capital to inform Randall that a bill is pending to turn Conway's water utility into a municipal project. But Conway has the senator's good-looking brother, the black sheep of the family, Sheppard Proctor, come to town. Sheppard Proctor kills the senator and makes a pact with Mona, pretending to be his brother. The impostor then even goes to the capitol to challenge the water bill...
