Buzzy and the Phantom Pinto plot
Kurt F. Henck, the manager of a large cattle company, offers a huge sum of money on rancher Tim Wade's land, but the latter refuses to sell. When Tim inspects his land near Black Mountain Cut, he is secretly followed by his grandson Buzzy and foreman Jim. The next morning they find Tim mortally wounded. Before Tim dies, he tells the two that he was attacked and that he saw a black pinto (horse breed). The manager Henck insists on selling the land to him, but Buzzy knows that his grandfather suspected that there is gold in Black Mountain Cut. Jim summons an investigator, but he is also shot at. There is a starting point to solve the attacks: the black pinto.
