"Outlaws call him "Killer" . . . and he calls their bluff!"
Protecting himself from cattle thieves, rancher Steve Holden believes he killed one of the bandits, young Bud Mathews, who had actually warned Holden that the cattle thieves were coming. Unaware that Mathews was killed not by him, but by thief boss Cass Barton, Holden drives to Mathews' hometown, where he plans to inform the boy's family of his death. But before he can even inform them, he discovers a plan by a local businessman who wants to force Mathews' father to leave his ranch.
