Border Bandits plot
"STRAIGHT SHOOTIN'...and Quick on the Draw"
Shortly after Nogales tells his granddaughter Celia that someone is after the family jewels, he is murdered by Dutch. Shortly before, Dutch and his friends Spike and Pepper drove to the hacienda with the plan to rob it. Steve Halliday, who is in love with Celia, gives chase to the bandits, but he is shot. US Marshals Nevada Jack McKenzie and Sandy Hopkins meet with Sheriff Wallace to discuss the robbery and murder, but come across Wallace's dead body. Arriving in the nearest town, McKenzie is arrested and charged with the murders of Nogales and the sheriff. This on the intercession of the banker John Halliday, who does not know that his cousin Steve also plays a dark role in the whole story.
