"HE'S DYNAMITE WITH A '45! Battling outlaws for black gold!"

The dormant conflict between Remington and Randall's families has flared up again. Lew Remington returns home and immediately becomes involved in the conflict between the two families. He discovers that the conflict is being fueled by a third party, John Heydrick, who profits from the unrest. Heydrick has discovered oil in the area, which is owned by both families, among others. Heydrick poisons a man, and Lew is accused. Fleeing the posse, Lew finds the poison and tries to prove his innocence.
