Along the Oregon Trail plot
It's about 1840. Gregg Thurston wants to appropriate a large tract of land in Oregon, so he doesn't like new settlers. Thurston needs guns to trade with the local Indians and eventually provoke an Indian revolt. Thurston's henchman Jake Stoner commits a robbery on a weapons transport, but the musically inclined Monte Hale manages to repel the attack. Stoner then successfully robs a department store full of guns. Hale suspects Thurston is behind the robbery and follows Stoner. But then Hale is captured by Stoner.
