"IN THE HIGH SIERRAS Life Is Cheap...and Law A Laughing Stock...But "WILD BILL HICKOK"...Is Aimin' To Take A Hand On The Side Of Law An' Order!"

Wild Bill Hickok saves his friend Larry from the noose, then tries to convince him to become an honorable rancher with him. But Larry has other plans and joins the bandit Carew. Hickok pursues the two and accidentally shoots Larry dead. Hickok decides to hang up his revolvers and makes wedding plans with Ann. When Hickok finds out that Carew is looking for him, he slings Larry's revolver around his hips and drives to meet Carew.
