A Hero of the Big Snows plot
Rin-Tin-Tin is rescued by trapper Ed Nolan from a beating by another trapper. The dog follows Nolan to his house, but refuses to enter the house. Nolan takes the dog to Mary Mallory, the woman of his dreams. However, she does not get along well with his lifestyle. When Mary's little sister falls ill, Rin-Tin-Tin is blamed for the blood on his mouth and Nolan decides to shoot the dog. Rin-Tin-Tin manages to escape and follows Mary who wants to call a doctor for help with a dog sled. When she gets caught in a snowstorm, the sled flips over and the dogs run away.
