Texas Tex Sherwood just came into possession of a ranch on a valuable piece of land in Montana that is being irrigated by a new dam. Corrupt banker Asa Holman, knowing the deed's transfer is due the next day, offers a $50,000 reward for Sherwood's timely capture. While bounty hunters hunt for Sherwood, the attractive Carolyn Jordan takes over as foreman on his ranch in place of her ailing father Anthony Jordan.
