What Price Glory plot
"AN EPIC STRUGGLE BETWEEN LOVE OF WOMAN AND LOVE OF COUNTRY"
Quirt and Flagg are two U.S. Marine sergeants on a mission to China and the Philippines. In the meantime, they are also each other's rivals in the women's field all the time. In 1917 America enters the First World War and Flagg, now a captain, is stationed in France. Here he is mainly busy seducing the flirtatious Charmaine, daughter of the innkeeper, but then Quirt also appears to have been summoned, of course never afraid to make it up with Charmaine. In time, the war brings so much misery and danger that the men have to unite anyway.
