Standschütze Bruggler plot

The film is set in World War I on the Tyrolean front. Young Toni Bruggler (Kerscher) volunteers to join the mountain hunters as a soldier, against the wishes of his mother (Kinz). When he is injured, he is cared for by a young noble woman (Chlud). But her love can't stop him either. After his recovery, he goes back to the front, where he contributes to the victory of the Tyroleans over the Italians.
