Sons of the Sea plot
The head of Dartmouth Training College is murdered and his successor, Captain Hyde, thinks he may have been the target himself. He enlists the help of his own shy son Philip, who is a cadet at the school, to help him investigate his suspicions about enemy actions at the school. In addition to enemy agents, members of the various British secret services also appear to be active at the school.
