Screaming Eagles plot
"Tough as They Come!"
France, June 6, 1944, D-day. Private Mason is an ill-tempered paratrooper who is part of the American '101 Airborne Infantry' division. Mason makes many enemies in his battalion because of his negative attitude. Righteous Lieutenant Pauling wants to change Mason's attitude. The '101', meanwhile, must hold on to an important bridgehead in Normandy, about 30 kilometers behind German lines. Pauling, who has taken German prisoners of war with his division, seeks support from the attractive French resistance fighter Marianne, in order to get rid of these prisoners of war. But Mason's bad behavior hinders Pauling's plans.
