Le Faux Soir plot

During the Nazi invasion of Belgium on May 10, 1940, all media were shut down or placed under surveillance. In Brussels, this was the case for the newspaper Le Soir. The newspaper's young owner, Marie-Thérèse Rossel, refused to work under German censorship and fled with her family to France. Le Soir, stolen by the Nazis, became a propaganda machine for Hitler and his Gestapo in Belgium. A group of resistance fighters attempted, at great risk to their own lives, to carry out the boldest action in the history of the clandestine press.
