Il Sole Sorge Ancora plot
A story about life in a castle in the plain of Lombardy and the agriculture around it, at the end of the Second World War. A deserter, who is in hiding, hides there and falls in love with the daughter of someone from the resistance. He joins the underground movement. One day a priest and a communist are shot. The workers can no longer tolerate it and revolt against the German occupier.
