Escape from Afghanistan plot

During the Russian-Afghan war in the 1980s, American photographer Charlie Palmer manages to meet Russian soldiers who are in an Afghan camp that is heavily guarded by the highly religious Taliban troops. Palmer, who intends to make a report about the dire conditions, finds himself in a situation he did not expect when the Russian prisoners take over the camp. Palmer films everything while his partner tries to save as many lives as possible.
