Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story plot
The third and final part of Anne of Green Gables: While Gilbert goes to work at a large hospital in New York City, Anne tries to get the book she wrote printed with various publishers. When both return to Avonlea disillusioned, World War I is in full swing in Europe. Under social pressure, Gilbert decides, like so many others, to go to the front. Anne stays behind and her works are published after all. However, after losing contact with Gilbert, she herself goes to France to look for him.
