Trece Campanadas plot
The young sculptor Jacobo returns to his hometown of Santiago de Compostela. There he wants to visit his mother, who is locked up in a psychiatric hospital because she murdered her husband Mateo eighteen years ago. Jacobo always thought his mother was dead and doesn't know what to expect. Once in Santiago de Compostela, Jacobo sees visions of his father Mateo, who was shot dead by his mother when the cathedral bell chimed thirteen times. In those visions, the ghost of his father tells Jacobo to finish Mateo's work on the cathedral. This seems like a simple job, so Jacobo agrees. Gradually, however, he stumbles upon a supernatural conspiracy. Mateo's ghost wants to kill him, allowing his father to bring himself back to life.
